Tworlds

A community mobile app built for real connectivity and moderation constraints. Codelore acts as Technical Director; product marketing stays with the client.

Hand holding a phone running Tworlds under a rainbow, next to the tagline: Discover what we have in common. Two worlds, one moment.
Two Tworlds screens: a rainbow photo from Amsterdam paired with a sea photo from Istres, France, and a map tracing the line between the two cities
Two Tworlds screens: a chat between the two people who shared a moment, and a personal collection of paired photos

A React Native and Expo app on slim Express services. It treats weak networks and human moderation as real constraints instead of pretending they are easy.

The constraint

Community apps fail in tedious ways: stale feeds, confusing offline states, and moderation queues that buckle under bursts of activity.

Codelore’s role

Codelore is the client’s Technical Director, responsible for the technical side: the mobile app, its backend services, and the release rhythm. Product marketing stays with the client.

Under the hood

Expo with React Native for pace, with native modules where responsiveness demands it. Backend services stay small: readable under stress, easy to extend. MongoDB documents flex with an evolving feed design.

The result so far

Clear contracts between the app and the backend, honest UI when the device is ahead of the network, and failures that explain themselves instead of silently corrupting a timeline.

More public notes will follow as the app ships.
