Capybase: a hosted API layer for your team.

A wide range of preset endpoints behind secure auth, and an OpenAPI spec for every API. Capybase runs the business logic; your data stays with you.

How it works

Call it from your code. We run the rest.

  1. Preset endpoints behind secure auth

A wide range of ready-made endpoints, each behind a secure auth layer from the start, so your team calls them instead of building them.

  2. An OpenAPI spec for every API

Generate typed clients, types and queries straight into your own backend with the tools your team already uses.

  3. Your data stays with you

Capybase is a business logic layer. It does not store your data.

  4. Hosted in the EU, with a developer portal

We host and run Capybase in the EU. Once onboarded, your team gets a developer portal with documentation for every endpoint, Swagger docs and the spec files.

Where it fits

Next to your product, not inside it.

Capybase runs as a separate, hosted business logic layer. Your product keeps its own code, infrastructure and data, and your team calls or imports Capybase from its own code. Types and queries come from each API’s OpenAPI spec, so less development time goes into plumbing.

It is Codelore’s own product and in active development.
